Last night!

So we didn't dress up exactly, as I suddenly decided I wanted to "goth out" like I used to back in high school and Ashley decided she would prefer a casual cool look than anything else. But we're cute together, nonetheless, and my roommate is awesome.

The play was amazing, too. A number of new students were in it, so I got to see fresh faces acting, which is always pleasant. My friend Andrew did a fantastic job, and the play was absolutely hilarious. I really enjoyed it because although the majority of it was comedic, there were extremely sad parts, which forced the actors to really get into their roles so they could express a whole range of different emotions. The set was great-- for the past month or so, my friend Ben (who was in charge of creating the set) would suddenly proclaim "oh! I have to go finish making that kitchen!" and leave the room, while the rest of us sat back and laughed at how unique his college experience has been (considering most of us had to leave to write papers and he was creating kitchen cabinets!) He also made a spiral staircase, which I guess he dropped at one point while installing, which led to a small bump on his head for a couple of days. What a brave and dedicated soul.

Well, I'm off to continue doing homework for the night, and perhaps a photo shoot with my friend. Artsy photos are always a good time.
